Statement:

As an artist I am interested in sound. I work on design and interaction with urban materials. Today’s consumerist society overproduces and over destroys materials. In my artistic approach I try to increase the usability of urban environments by eliminating wasteful objects and altering social behaviors. Hardware hacking, sound (re)production, material gathering, Object Oriented Programming and graphic design coincide in providing a framework to implement positive change. The artistic challenge that I find is to recombine these elements together proportionally in order to generate a new contemporary aesthetic that is responsive to the environment.
